Summer Camp

CAMP TURRELL

(Troop 159's Annual Summer Camp)

Camp Turrell has been the ultimate site for Boy Scout camping for over thirty years. The camp is located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, with easy access to the Delaware River and other local attractions.

Camp Turrell has excellent sailing, rowing, canoeing and swimming (don't forget the mile swim) on a fantastic 95-acre lake. They offer great programs on their extensive mountain biking trails, rivers, as well as in camp, which include many water activitles, fishing, shooting sport, and x-treme sports such as climbing and rappelling. Did we also mention they offer a lot of merit badges! Come join us for a week! The weather is great and so is the food-really, and a lot of it!!!

Camp Turrell, 130 Galligan Rd Cuddebackville, NY 12729 is a Boy Scout Summer camp run by our Northern New Jersey Council. Camp Turrell also can be used for off-season camping in the non-summer months. You can stay in tents, Peterson Lean-tos or the Peterson Lodge. At this time Camp Turrell has seasonal well water from May to end of October.
