Boy Scout Troop 159 is sponsored by Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt, NJ.
Boy Scouting is a year-round program for boys ages 11-17. Through the Boy Scout program, The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
Boy Scout Troop 159 meets between the months of September and June, every Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 PM in the Our Lady Queen of Peace gymnasium (1911 Union Valley Road, Hewitt, NJ 07421). Our program also consists of monthly camping trips and annual summer camp attendance in July.

Pack and Troop 159 will be marching again in the annual West Milford Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 30.
The Troop will be helping to set up the Legion for the picnic in the morning around 8:00 AM. Then we will be taking part in the flag ceremony and marching. This is a significant community service for us - if you are in town we request that you attend. After the parade, stay at the Legion for the free picnic.
All Scouts should be in full uniform with comfortable walking shoes and please bring a water bottle.
We are going to Whitewater Challengers on the Lehigh River in Weatherly, PA which is about 2 hours away. Check out their FAQs for more details. We'll leave on Friday night, June 3, and return on Sunday, June 5. The price will be $54 per scout (cost is being subsidized by the troop to keep it as reasonable as possible) and $89 per adult.
