Boy Scout Troop 159 is sponsored by Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt, NJ.
Boy Scouting is a year-round program for boys ages 11-17. Through the Boy Scout program, The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
Boy Scout Troop 159 meets between the months of September and June, every Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 PM in the Our Lady Queen of Peace gymnasium (1911 Union Valley Road, Hewitt, NJ 07421). Our program also consists of monthly camping trips and annual summer camp attendance in July.
If you're interested in seeing what Scouting and Teamwork is all about, please contact Scoutmaster Tim Kopko (scoutmaster@OLQPTroopandPack159.org)
Volunteer age is 14 & 15 (CIT's). Paid workers 16 and above.
The volunteers do not have to work the whole summer. They would prefer the paid staff does but something can be worked out if they can not do the whole summer.
They need people for Nature, kitchen staff and 18+ working for climbing. There maybe other things as well as they go through setting up camp this week. This call is open to all Boy Scouts and Venturers (Male and Female) They would love to have more female staff members and CIT's up at camp.
Please contact the Turrell Camp Director, Walter, or Betsy if your son or daughter is interested in this great summer job opportunity:
