Welcome to Troop 159!

Eagle Award

Boy Scout Troop 159 is sponsored by Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt, NJ.

BOY SCOUTING is a year-round program for boys ages 11-17. Through the Boy Scout program, The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

100 years

For nearly a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes - and, through nearly a century of experience, knows - that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.

As we continue to grow, we look forward to receiving changes and improvements from the parents and Scouts in making the website more user friendly, suggestions for new destinations, fun activities and anything else that will make it more fun, exciting and a learning experience for all involved.

If you have suggestions, please send them to my attention for consideration. If we add it, we can "spotlight" your suggestion!
